She can make ends meet by renting guest rooms and selling land produce. But when Mayor Stadlhuber (Alexander Held) threatens to ruin this idyllic region by building a high-ski-lift, she refuses to sell the piece of land needed to complete the project. Johannes Wallner (Sascha Hehn) is sent by the construction engineer to help persuade Anna to change her mind. Fifteen years ago, Johannes had left Hohenfels after a quarrel with his mother Leni (Julia Gschnitzer) and brother Markus (Timothy Peach).
